Rosanna Physio is on Bellevue Avenue in Rosanna, just across the Yarra from Bulleen. Bulleen sits in the City of Manningham and Rosanna in Banyule, but the two are only a few minutes apart by car.

Getting here from Bulleen

• By car: about 10 minutes via Manningham Road and Banksia Street, crossing the Yarra at Heidelberg.
• Parking: the clinic sits directly opposite a 120-space car park. Given almost everyone drives from Bulleen, that is worth knowing: you will not be circling side streets before your appointment.
• There is no train from Bulleen. Manningham is the only Melbourne council with no train or tram service at all, so driving is the realistic option. If you would rather take the train, Heidelberg Station is your nearest, one stop from Rosanna on the Hurstbridge line.

Soccer, running and weekend sport

Bulleen has a strong football culture centred on the Veneto Club, and soccer injuries are a big part of what we see from this side of the river: ankle sprains, medial knee and ACL injuries, groin and adductor strains, and hamstring tears that keep coming back. Hamstrings in particular are usually a loading problem rather than a flexibility one, which is why stretching alone rarely fixes them. We test properly, load the tissue progressively, and set clear criteria for getting back on the park.

Not everything is sport.
